“We are all different, and will all have different experiences but I am personally proud of myself and my body for getting through this. My nickname at school was ‘melons’ so I did feel like a bit of my identity was being stripped away but, of course, it was all for my little girl. I want to be here for her and I want her to know that it’s okay if she has it too. She has options and we will get through it together.”
