Mastectomy due to breast cancer diagnosis.

Surgery details:Image taken 14 months post-mastectomy, with immediate PAP flap reconstruction. Nipples reconstructed two months before the image.

“It was a double mastectomy with immediate PAP Flap reconstruction in Aug ’23, I was in hospital for 5 days afterwards. My legs were worse than my chest post-procedure in terms of recovery but I’m incredibly pleased with the result.

 

I opted for nipple reconstruction in Aug ’24 and I will get tattoos as soon as I can. I have declined further lipofilling procedures to even them out, they’re sisters not twins!”
