Diagnosed with BRCA2 after lumpectomy.

Age: 36

Surgery details: Gel and saline expanders (this requires an extra op to get the saline ports out- something I wish I’d known).

“I first requested a genetic test when my Mum got cancer, however I was refused. Turns out my Dad has BRCA which is why his Mum passed when he was 3 years old. It’s been a wild journey of self-advocation, healing, growth, spirituality, recurrence, reinvention and self-love.”
